It's a hot summer day. A warm breeze flows gently over the daydreaming fields.

‘Daydreaming Fields’ is an artwork in my collection 'Wavy Fields‘.
I made it on a sunny day during a walk through the beautiful undulating fields at the south side of Nissum Bredning, a part of the Limfjord in northwest Jutland, Denmark.

The Limfjord (Danish: Limfjorden, in Northwest Jutland dialect: Æ Limfjord) is a shallow part of the sea in Denmark, where it has been considered an estuary since Viking times. However, it now has entrances from both the North Sea and the Kattegat, separating the North Jutland Island (Danish: Nørrejyske Ø) from the rest of the Jutland peninsula. The Limfjord stretches from Thyborøn Channel on the North Sea to Hals on the Kattegat. It is about 180 kilometers long and irregular in shape with numerous bays, narrows and islands, notably Mors and the smaller Fur, Venø, Jegindø, Egholm and Livø. The deepest point is Hvalpsund (24 meters).

And each bay has a name. Here, on the southwest side of the fjord, close to the North Sea and thus directly behind the Thyborøn Channel, the bay is called Nissum Bredning.
The beautiful rolling landscape of fields has a wonderful palette of colors in every season.
