This lonely road has no beginning, no end
The voice of the rain whispers among the leaves
A dying wind announces twilight
Almost Home

A dark gray day. It is beginning to get dark and the wind is finally abating. A curtain of rain obscures the view. But I know this road, I know we're almost home.

I made this photo in the beautiful old forest near the town of Tranekær on the island of Langeland, Denmark.
