Nature is brimming with a vast, infinite collection of colors, patterns and textures. And every moment of the day, every place you go, everywhere you look, every change in weather and light, opens up a new treasure chest of experiences.
Exploring this pallet, by crawling through forests, fields and over beaches, provides a vast amount of material and inspiration for a new collection of abstract, slightly reworked digital artworks., based on photos that I made in the past two decades.
Join me on an exploration of an abstracted world. Nature is the best abstract artist there is, if you get up close…
A stranded tree trunk partly covered with sand at the North Sea beach, Sønder Vorupør, Denmark
Detail of a huge tree trunk, completely bare weathered. North Sea beach near Bulbjerg, Denmark
A very finely woven net of spider webbing on the trunk of an old Swedish whitebeam.
What remains of a blue jellyfish when it has died on the beach? A blue “fingerprint"...
Detail of a cone of a Korean fir tree (Abies koreana). The beige patch in the upper left is dried resin, the darker patch is fresh resin starting to run out of the cone.
A detail of a hibiscus flower, just after a rain shower, photographed early in the morning.

The bark of a very old birch tree. It strengthens your connection to the nature around you when you touch trees and plants regularly.
