A pine fragrance,
damp ground awakens
The first light
softly caresses the moss
A spring morning blends
with dark scents of the night

It's early in the morning. The first sunlight touches the moss between the trees. And as if the forest had been waiting for it, immediately the most wonderful scents rise up and mingle with the nightly smell of damp leaves and wood.

'Scent of Early Morning' is a new artwork in my collection 'Secret Places‘.
I made this photo in the beautiful old forest ‘Dover plantage’ near the city of Hurup Thy, North Jutland, Denmark.
