On a not too windy day, waves are very calming to me.

They play a game with the sun and the sky, reflecting and chasing each other's colors that in an endless variety continuously present a breathtaking spectacle.

The regular irregularity with which they move in a slow dance, elevate in the surf, explode for a short moment and relax in the sand, is hypnotic. If you sit in the sun on the beach and close your eyes, their song, accompanied by the wind, can easily make you fall asleep...

'Slow Dance' is an artwork in my collection 'Infinite Sea'.

I made it on a beautiful autumn day on the beach of the North Sea south of the town of Agger, Thy region, Denmark.
